Terms and Conditions
1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) apply to all services provided by Lona Pilates GmbH, in particular participation in classes, trainings, workshops, memberships, multiple-class cards, and drop-in bookings.
2. Contract Formation
The contractual partner is Lona Pilates GmbH.
A contract is concluded when the customer books via the online platform or app and receives confirmation.
3. Services Offered
The studio offers:
- Group classes Mat, Reformer, etc.
- Private sessions / personal training
- Multiple-class cards (e.g. 5-class, 10-class cards)
- Memberships with a minimum term (see 4.)
- Drop-in classes
4. Memberships / Minimum Term / Non-Transferability
- Memberships have a minimum term of 3 months.
- After expiry of the minimum term, memberships renew automatically by one month unless terminated at least 4 weeks prior to renewal.
- Memberships are non-transferable to other persons.
5. Prices & Payment
- All services must be paid in advance.
- Participation is only possible after payment has been received.
- Accepted payment methods are those indicated in the booking system (e.g. SEPA direct debit, credit card, etc.).
6. Cancellations & Class Cancellations
- Customers may cancel their booking up to 12 hours before the start of a class without charge.
- In case of late cancellation or no-show, the full price is due / the credit is deducted.
- The studio reserves the right to cancel classes before they start (as a rule up to 6 hours before). In such cases, customers will receive a refund or may rebook another class.
7. Participation & Studio Rules
- The studio is a shoe-free zone. Training is done barefoot or with grip socks.
- Participants must arrive at least 5 minutes before the start of the class.
- Late arrivals will not be admitted, and no refunds will be given.
- Respectful behavior towards instructors and other participants is required.
- Safety and hygiene instructions must be followed.
8. Liability & Health
- Participation is at the customer’s own risk. Customers are responsible for informing the studio of any health issues.
- It is recommended to consult a physician before starting training.
- The studio accepts no liability for health-related damages, injuries, or other damages, unless caused by intent or gross negligence.
- The studio accepts no liability for loss or damage to personal belongings.
9. Right of Withdrawal (Online Contracts)
- If a contract is concluded online, consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal (usually 14 days).
- Details are set out in the withdrawal policy provided separately in the online booking system.
10. Data Protection & Use of Images
- Personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws (GDPR).
- Details are outlined in the separate Privacy Policy available on the website.
- Photos/videos may only be taken and used with the consent of those concerned.
11. Final Provisions
- German law applies.
- Place of jurisdiction is Frankfurt am Main, as far as legally permissible.
If individual provisions of these T&Cs are invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. Invalid provisions shall be replaced by valid ones that come closest to their purpose. - Amendments to these T&Cs will be announced at least 4 weeks before they come into force via the website or app.
